Notable alumni

[edit]

I would like to know why sports stars are "notable alumni" but alumni who graduated from the school and now teach there are not notable. This is a school. I would think academic achievement would be as "notable" as being able to carry a football. If I list all the doctors and lawyers who have graduated from Stranahan, will they be as unworthy of recognition?

Perhaps you aren't clear on what constitutes as being notable. Notable alumni are considered people of recognizable status, such as sports stars or celebrities. Teachers and doctors are not considered notable to WP's guidelines. Also, please remember to sign your posts, using four tildes. Legendotphoenix 15:54, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stranahan Engineering

[edit]

Please stop adding Stranahan's Engineering Program to this article. You may add to the article if you can find something relevent, but what you all have put on there so far is how great you are. You are NOT recognized around the country, and Stranahan's cirriculum should NOT be mentioned. Thank you. Legendotphoenix 12:44, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Extra curricular

[edit]

I added a category - the extra-curricular list from the school's website, minus a few items which currently don't exist. Anonymous~Source 12:02, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Integration and Segregation

[edit]

I completely removed the section until a source is found. Anonymous~Source 12:02, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The source is an oral interview given by Pamela Clark, one of the first African American students to integrate this school, and Stranahan alum. Sigmasiren 15:29, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a link that I can add to the article? Anonymous~Source 22:24, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but your lack of a response has led me to delete the section. You need to find a legitimate source for that. Anonymous~Source 00:04, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
