Description of California State Route 178 is inaccurate.
[edit]It is stated in this article (referring to SR190 west from Stovepipe Wells), "Eventually, the road meets State Route 178 (SR178) at Panamint Junction in the Panamint Valley." But, this is incorrect. The east end of the western segment of SR178 ends before the town of Trona, CA at 35.681396, -117.391891. There are signs stating the beginning and ending of SR 178 at that location. The road at the intersection referred to in the article is simply Panamint Valley Road and there are no SR178 signs at that intersection. Mcsew2k (talk) 21:24, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
Correction to above: SR190 and SR178 never meet. Mcsew2k (talk) 22:01, 1 July 2013 (UTC)

Old Stovepipe Wells is No. 726
[edit]I just visited and the plaque says 726, not 826 as this article says. Did it change? Trilotat (talk) 20:52, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
- Corrected Trilotat (talk) 04:03, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- 726 has been removed, thank you. Note: There are three California Historical Landmarks in Stovepipe Wells.Telecine Guy (talk) 21:24, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
