Copyvio

[edit]

To the author, this is the second time I've nominated this page for deletion (it was already deleted as a copyvio once before). The comparison can be seen here until the article is deleted. Can you explain this somehow? OlYellerTalktome 13:36, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
To User:OlYeller21

As there is very little research papers available on story driven modelling so I tried to use only one paper, i was unaware of wiki policies that paraphrasing is also a copy-vio. Sorry for that. I will be rewriting the article using more references and more study.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Atulnk11 (talkcontribs) 15:35, 17 October 2011
That sounds great. Just make sure it's completely in your own words. OlYellerTalktome 15:37, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've taken the liberty of correcting the duplication detector link above to the actual version of the article being compared to the source. It wasn't a verbatim paste, but the paraphrasing was a probably a bit too close not to constitute copyright infringement. WP:Close paraphrasing has more guidance on this.
