Support merge (or perhaps just a redirect - not sure there's anything to merge!): the newly-created article (24 April 2017) at Agricultural landscape of southern Öland is very similar to, though contains less content than, the very old-established (5 October 2006) article Stora Alvaret, which should have had a redirect from its Unesco World Heritage Site name since at least the addition of the WHS infobox in Feb 2007, but didn't - if it had had such a redirect, the duplicate article wouldn't have been wastefully created! At a quick glimpse I don't see any content in the new article which isn't already in the old one, so unless there are any places where the content is better expressed, there's not really anything to merge. CommentAgricultural landscape of southern Öland has a surface of 217.46 square miles (563.2 km2), which more than doubles the surface of Stora Alvaret, so it makes no sense to merge the former into the latter: for that reason I aborted the merge proposal, which was apparently built on the misunderstanding that both cover the same part of the island. --Francis Schonken (talk) 19:19, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
