"John Howard and New South Wales Premier, Morris Iemma were widely criticised[who?] along with the police for what were seen as "heavy-handed" tactics,[29] such as the arrest without bail of Greg McLeay, a 52-year-old accountant who accidentally strode too close to a motorcade while crossing the road with his 11-year-old son"
Fair and balanced????? You mean deliberately walking across the road through a motorcade after being told not to, by a police officer who he then assaulted? The atricle used to reference this is clearly labled 'opinion piece'. There are many other online news articles which are less biased available.
unfortunatly certain wikipedia pages are govenered by "experts" who tend to follow 1 belief or another (seriously check out some of the religion pages when you get a free moment). depending who is looking after them they are either very generous or very agressive in their views. there is next to no equality or non Bias attitudes in the worlds largest encylopedia anymore. which is ironic since wikipedia is (in)famous for its heavy handed citation policy152.91.9.153 (talk) 03:08, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia is quite enamoured with war activities because there is a huuuge collection of English language CV pages for NAZI fighter pilots who perished or did not in the war. They mostly have the title "Hauptmann", if you try to verify.
The Website www.stopwarcoalition.org does not seem to exist. Domain parked free of charge. You wonder if that is some kind of censorship or lack of funds of the organisation or if they've been busted.2001:8003:A070:7F00:ECF5:147E:FE89:9061 (talk) 04:06, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
