[edit]The quarry has been categorised as Category:Visitor attractions in Leicestershire, and considering that divers do travel some distance to dive there, it probably is reasonable to call it a "visitor attraction". However, for some unfathomable reason, the category has now been merged into Category:Tourist attractions in Leicestershire, and there's by stretch of the imagination could it be considered a "tourist attraction". It simply does not attract tourists. Put it another way: nobody doing a grand tour of the East Midlands is going to stop off at Stoney Cove as one of the sites they must see.
The categories are not identical, but if there's consensus to merge the two, that's up to those who decided it. Nevertheless, there's no consensus to call Stoney Cove a "tourist attraction", and I think it reasonable to ask those who are doing so to please desist or to adduce sources that justify your edit. --RexxS (talk) 16:55, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
