Attention Senior Wiki Editors: Corrections conducted for "Multiple Issues"
[edit]This is in reference to the "Multiple Issues" box posted at the top of the article for "Stone and Stone":
This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page.
* It may have been edited by a person who has a conflict of interest with the subject matter. Tagged since February 2011. * It is an autobiography, or has been extensively edited by the subject, and may not conform to NPOV policy. Tagged since February 2011. * It may contain improper references to self-published sources. Tagged since February 2011.
1. There was a misunderstanding as one of the original editors (me) had a username that reflected this article's subject. It was assumed that since my username reflected the subject of this article, that I must be the article's subject writing an autobiography, etc. I am not the subject.
2. This is not an autobiography. I am an editor that specializes in comedian biographical information.
3. It was my error to originally list sources that were not satisfactory for wikipedia. I removed all of those such articles and replaced them with numerous wikipedia approved sources.
Finally, if there are any other errors that need to be corrected, please let me know and I will be eager to correct them as soon as possible. If you need me to provide any additional information so that the "Multiple Issues" box can be removed, please let me know.
Thanks! Comedybiographer (talk) 11:19, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- That tag no longer appears on the article after the multiple moves so it should no longer cause concern. I think it was though correct for you to post here clarifying the situation for those of us who were aware it. Cheers and welcome to Wikipedia. Veriss (talk) 05:44, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- FYI: The background and general overview of the situation we refer to is here for those who may not have been following it: Wikipedia:ANI#Stone_and_Stone. The situation appears to pretty much have been resolved with a determination of no harm, no foul. There are a lot of wiki-landmines and an extensive bureaucracy of wiki-enforcers here eagerly awaiting new editors to stumble through. Veriss (talk) 06:03, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
