The result of the move request was: consensus to move page to OKS Stomil Olsztyn. After evaluation of arguments from both sides there is a consensus to move page to the new title (non-admin closure) Megan☺️ Talk to the monster 20:38, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
Stomil Olsztyn (football) → OKS Stomil Olsztyn – Appears to be official name per club crest and based on discussion on WikiProject Football Talk. RedPatchBoy (talk) 21:46, 22 September 2020 (UTC)

- Support the move. Would have been quicker the other way before. This might take awhile as people don't seem to read these or take part! :/ Govvy (talk) 09:28, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support per WT:FOOTY discussion, it's their proper name. Joseph2302 (talk) 09:51, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Support It seems to be the proper name of the club. WDM10 (talk) 09:56, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

- Support per nom. GiantSnowman 17:57, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. Lech Poznań is not KKS Lech Poznań, PSV Eindhoven is not Philips Sport Vereniging, and Hamburger SV is not Hamburger Sport-Verein Eingetragener Verein Abcmaxx (talk) 21:41, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Comment That's why I put OKS Stomil Olsztyn instead of Olsztyński Klub Sportowy Stomil Olsztyn, and the same standard as SL Benfica, FC Porto, Sporting CP, FC Barcelona, Manchester City FC, etc RedPatchBoy (talk) 00:25, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- Ping @Primefac: How about that move now? Govvy (talk) 13:27, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- Looks okay. Sorry for the somewhat unnecessary bureaucracy, but having the potential of the discussion swinging towards "oppose" means there was also the potential for the move to be reversed. Primefac (talk) 14:33, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

OKS Stomil Olsztyn → Stomil Olsztyn – the adopted nomenclature of articles relating to clubs in Poland (for example, it is Lech Poznań, not KKS Lech Poznań). Atlantico 000 (talk) 14:00, 6 March 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 21:27, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 18:25, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, has a recent discussion resulted in consensus to move all of them? If so, can you please point us to it? Because otherwise this RM from a year and a half ago applies. Dr. Vogel (talk) 01:13, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Haven't seen this discussion. I just pointed out that only these 3 articles about clubs in Poland have prefixes in their names (like OKS or MPK); in the rest they are not (instead of KP Legia Warsaw, there will be Legia Warsaw, and a possible section in parentheses). What should I do in this situation? To start a discussion on the change of the name of Stomil, is this argument for the restoration of the proposed names sufficient? If it is not enough, then I am asking for the restoration of Pogoń Siedlce and Ruch Zdzieszowice, and in the case of Stomil Olsztyn I will take other steps. Atlantico 000 (talk) 07:53, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
- Given the recent RM about one of them going in the opposite direction, I'd be apprehensive about making these moves without a new RM. Dr. Vogel (talk) 13:58, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

Procedural oppose - these articles should not be bundled like this. GiantSnowman 22:08, 11 March 2022 (UTC)- Why? Atlantico 000 (talk) 15:25, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Because each club should be considered separate. see WP:TRAINWRECK. GiantSnowman 09:40, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- @GeoffreyT2000: was the user who did it like this. Please refer to this. Atlantico 000 (talk) 15:04, 15 March 2022 (UTC)

- Why? Atlantico 000 (talk) 15:25, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that Ruch Zdzieszowice is no longer called HKS Ruch Zdzieszowice, but MKS Ruch Zdzieszowice. Introducing changes will avoid chaos when a club changes its name prefix. Atlantico 000 (talk) 08:08, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment Officially, the club from Olsztyn is not named OKS Stomil Olsztyn, but Stomil Olsztyn S.A. See here. Atlantico 000 (talk) 08:13, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- I have separated out the other two articles into their own separate move requests per GiantSnowman's comment above. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 21:02, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per consensus at Talk:OKS Stomil Olsztyn#Requested move 22 September 2020. GiantSnowman 21:30, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment @GiantSnowman: But now the situation is different. 1) At that time, "Stomil Olsztyn" was also redirected to the Michelin factory; 2) Stomil's name is not OKS Stomil, but Stomil Olsztyn S.A. I would like to remind you that, according to the names of Polish clubs, these prefixes are not added (only 2 other clubs have them, and there is a discussion about this). Atlantico 000 (talk) 11:23, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
- @GiantSnowman: In my opinion, user GiantSnowman's objection contains factual errors and should not be taken into account. However, he has the opportunity to respond to it by withdrawing the objection. Atlantico 000 (talk) 13:40, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
- Comment In my opinion, if my proposal was to be rejected, the name of the article cannot remain under the current name anyway, because the club changed the prefix. Atlantico 000 (talk) 17:09, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
Support per prefixes change often, and I found that the OKS Stomil Olsztyn is the former name (in years of 2012-14) and now its the Stomil Olsztyn S.A.[1] Soorma221 (talk) 20:52, 1 April 2022 (UTC)Sockpuppet of Atlantico 000Support per WP:COMMONNAME, I've checked articles in Polish they are to indicate the Stomil Olsztyn and the antoher argument is the Stomil is not OKS anymore Natapanedd (talk) 15:29, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Sockpuppet of Atlantico 000- Oppose It's clearly not the adopted nomenclature given that multiple articles in Category:Football clubs in Poland and its subcategories use prefixes. This probably needs a centralised discussion rather than ad hoc RMs that (erroneously) claim there is an established naming convention. Cheers, Number 57 22:05, 8 April 2022 (UTC)

OKS Stomil Olsztyn → Stomil Olsztyn S.A. – Appears to be official name per contact's official website "Stomil Olsztyn S.A.", and the name "OKS" is out-of-date from 2014 Consiiiid (talk) 08:57, 21 April 2022 (UTC)

- NOTE - nominator has been banned for sock puppetry. GiantSnowman 08:06, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
NOTE - I am the sock puppet (???) of none, don’t know why my previous account was banned! Anyway, keeping the name from 2014 is acting to the Wikipedia detriment, so any vendetta is stupid. Keeping out of date clubs name is nonsense!!! Consiiid2 (talk) 10:15, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
