Merge
[edit]The page crop milk covers a similar subject, but on a wider variety of birds. Stomach oil might be termed a particularly oily form of crop milk, and both pages are of limited length, so perhaps merging the two pages would be advantageous to both readers and prospective editors, as both article's scopes are very similar; relating to strategies of lithophilic birds in provisioning their altricial young. - I'm not sure merging would be a good idea. Article length is not really a good argument. The deWP article is longer and well referenced and could therefore be used to expand the English article. --Leyo 21:03, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
- Are the two articles too distinct to be merged? Anthropophoca (talk) 05:31, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- There is a certain overlap in function, but other functions are quite different in my view. --Leyo 22:04, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
