Term hits too close to home

Is the use of the word 'fools' necessary?

In this case the term "fools" is used in the sense of the "Theory of the Greater Fool" rather than in the perjorative sense necessarily. WynnQuon 22:53, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am sloooowly rewriting this article. I hope to include a section on the characteristics of stock market bubbles. I'm going to draw from JK Galbraith's work. Small side note: I've removed references to the Tulip Mania because it was a commodity bubble and not a stock market bubble per se. Comments welcome.WynnQuon 02:49, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to 1st para in article:

I removed the reference to Garber, because that work focuses heavily on Tulipmania. I'm assuming this article should keep to the topic of stock market bubbles rather than bubbles in general. I added the reference to behavioral finance up front because this is the strongly favored explanation of stock market bubbles. WynnQuon 20:57, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
