2010 season

[edit]

Just a point of note, Corinthians (the Brazilian football team who compete in Superleague Formula as Sport Club Corinthians Paulista (Superleague Formula team)) are apparently going to enter this tournament with driver Ricardo Zonta in 2010. http://racing.terra.com.br/index.asp?codc=5342 Don't know if this should be mentioned somewhere or if you people have plans to create season pages for this series as the template suggests. Some questions

[edit]

I've been working on a number of Motorsport category related articles and I came across this series.

If anyone who reads Portuguese and is able to do more research, I'm curious about the following:

  1. Is the series sanctioned by an FIA member organisation?
  2. The article is scant on technical details. What engines are used in these cars? How much do the cars weigh? What components are "control"? How much downforce do they have? How does the performance of the cars compare with international categories like, say, GT3 or Carrera Cup?
  3. are there any estimates of season budgets for participating teams?

For reference, here's a very useful article that fills in a lot of technical details. https://speedcafe.com/supercars-news-stock-car-pro-series-brazil-reveals-chevrolet-tracker-suv-crossover-2025/ Robert Merkel (talk) 11:40, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
