Notable people/Kevin Gullikson
[edit]In regards to 71.220.54.1's edit and comment here, I'm willing to wait on deciding whether or not to keep or remove Kevin Gullikson in the "Famous People from Stillwater" section until the article Kevin Gullikson has been determined to meet the "notability" standard. If the article is not edited, "fails" the notability dest and is deleted, I see no reason to keep Gullikson in this section.
On a larger note, the section is indeed troublesome. The porn stars certainly pass the "notability test," but they don't exactly represent the city fairly. I'd rather see the entire section deleted, greatly compacted, or something else. -the dharma bum 21:23, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
I should add that most Stillwater citizens (that I've spoken to) haven't heard of most of the people on the list, including the models and the porn stars. Gullikson is a local celebrity and nearly all citizens of the city have heard of him. I'm not sure if that makes him more or less qualified, but I would like to see the porn stars taken out. Movies
[edit]Was the first Grumpy Old Men filmed (in part) in Stillwater? I only seem to remember the location in the second. --24.245.9.85 23:18, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
