Fastifex-Run! edit war

[edit]

Fastifex, what exactly do you mean when you say "passing off examples instead of categories"? I assume you think I'm doing something wrong with cleaning up according to MOS:DAB but I'm not sure what it is.  -- Run!  12:28, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. Your talk page explains your non-sensical edits. I'm reverting this page again, and will continue to do so until you supply a reason for your changes.  -- Run!  12:32, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"to get" stick

[edit]

Anyone from Britain will know the expression to give or receive stick. However i wouldn't know how to explain it on the article. 167.1.176.4 (talk) 12:25, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I added this meaning to List of words having different meanings in British and American English: M–Z and linked it here. It is covered in Wiktionary under give stick. Nick Number (talk) 18:53, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
