My contribution below reverted with " 'Steward ownership' a different subject". Until that page is started, I copy the contested text here:
Steward-owned companies make a legally binding commitment to their employees and customers: that the company is not as a speculative good or commodity but a group of people working for a purpose.[1]
Steward-ownership is a way for our society to get all the benefits of capitalism and free markets while remedying their negative effects.[2]
