Bitter taste elimination
[edit]Although a topic of interest, this edit by Rahulbioinfowiki was reverted because the image and caption edits are based on primary research, and are not likely to be understandable for the general, non-science user - WP:NOTJOURNAL #6-8. If there's a WP:SCIRS review, that source would be better, although the speculative language on receptors would need rewriting. I searched for reviews on PubMed and Google Scholar, and found no reliable reviews on this topic. Zefr (talk) 19:46, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
- The following is OR so can not be included, but just noting an anecdote from 21 years of experience with it : If it is bitter, you're using too much. If you want it sweeter, you'll need to add a small amount of something sweet (such as milk containing lactose etc., or a small amount of sucralose). Stevioside seems to work with whatever present that has any sweetness (including sugars naturally present in saliva). Completely by itself (such as mixed with water) its sweetness is very weak (likely helped by those sugars found in saliva). — al-Shimoni (talk) 05:05, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
