The result of the move request was: moved to Stevie Mallan (footballer, born 1967), in the second case, turn Stevie Mallan into a disambiguation page. (closed by non-admin page mover) —Nnadigoodluck███ 12:50, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
- Stevie Mallan → Stevie Mallan (footballer, born 1967)
- Stevie Mallan (footballer, born 1996) → Stevie Mallan
– Mallan Junior's article has consistently far higher page views, of course this is partly because he is a current player, but I think it is already clear that his career has greater long term significance. His father played no higher than the second tier of Scottish football, whereas the son has played almost 100 games in the top flight and represented Scotland at under-21 level, so can now be considered the primary topic. - Weak Support, but would also be happy to have a DAB at base name and redirect both footballers.--Ortizesp (talk) 15:03, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- Weak Oppose on the same lines, I'd rather go towards the No Primary Topic and rename the dad with the date with the name as a redirect choice to either. Crowsus (talk) 16:58, 19 November 2020 (UTC)
- I'm also happy enough with that solution, if people think it's preferable. Jellyman (talk) 08:54, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. GiantSnowman 16:03, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose and move articles to Stevie Mallan (footballer, born 1967) and Stevie Mallan (footballer, born 1996) respectively, with Stevie Mallan becoming a disambiguation page, on the basis there is no primary topic. Thoughts @Jellyman, Ortizesp, and Crowsus:? GiantSnowman 16:06, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support this alternative.--Ortizesp (talk) 16:07, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support this alternative. Crowsus (talk) 16:49, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
- This seems to be the popular outcome, so I'm happy enough to go along with it. Jellyman (talk) 11:53, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
