Extent of detail about collision
[edit]At this diff User:Add92 has removed a reference and some details about this incident. I can't quite see a good reason why. Do we need a third opinion on this? Civis Romanus (talk) 19:21, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
We don't need excessive detail on such a minor incident plus the reference you included is incorrectly formatted please use the template in the future.--Add92 (talk) 15:30, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- At this diff I have corrected grammar and citation, and re-inserted one small detail which seems rather more important than most of the rest of the details in this article. Civis Romanus (talk) 16:21, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- Again, at this diff, I have re-inserted sourced content about a significant incident. I suspect we have rather different opinions on what's important in this sort of article. Do we need a third opinion? Civis Romanus (talk) 09:33, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
"In September 2013 N'Zonzi was interviewed by police after he was involved in a collision with a cyclist in Hale, Greater Manchester." I think this is enough detail about this incident. If he gets charged with anything then we can add that .--Add92 (talk) 11:30, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- Our ideas obviously differ completely. Do you want to take it to a third opinion or shall I? Civis Romanus (talk) 13:18, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Father Congolese and mother French

Contacting the Football Association and Recent Event on Nov. 2nd
[edit]We have an issue that one of the users removed some content relating to August 2016 contacting the football association. Also, he removed and changed some sources without saying why. Any help on what actually happened to Steven N'Zonzi? —Bey WHEELZ Let It RIP!✉📝Sign 17:13, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Steven N'Zonzi → Steven Nzonzi – @Tuttiseme: has raised this issue on WT:FOOTY, pointing to an article on L'Équipe. The article states that this is a common error and points out that the player's official Twitter account does not use the apostrophe. The source currently used in this article as a reference for the player's full name also does not use the apostrophe (the source relates to his official player registration with the FA). - Support It looks like a 50:50 split on how his name is reported, so WP:COMMONNAME is unclear. Seems more sensible to err on the side of the player's own way of spelling his name. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 12:43, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support per WP:ABOUTSELF policy. This is not a WP:COMMONNAME matter at all (COMMONAME is not a style policy, it's the policy that tells us this subject's name is some version of "Steven Nzoni", styled one way or another, not "Stephen Nzoni" or "Steven N. Zoni"). — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ< 16:43, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Closing comment: I note this reverses a previous apparently undiscussed move 01:54, 1 December 2009 Joao10Siamun (talk | contribs | block) . . (28 bytes) (+28) . . (moved Steven Nzonzi to Steven N'Zonzi over redirect: It was already correct and need not be changed.) This move itself apparently reversed and overwrote another previous undiscussed move.
