Notability and WP:POINT

I have tagged this entry because there is no evidence yet that this particular archaeologist is very notable. He may well be notable but then it wont be hard to show that. However, it needs to be noted that this entry, which isn't much more than a list of publications ripped straight from his faculty page, was created minutes prior to the addition of a reference to one of his publications at Origin of religion, a page currently undergoing an AfD. It seems more than likely that the creation of this entry was done to prove a point that the this entry creator is trying to make about the other entry he created, Origin of religion. Whether or not that is true we need to judge notability based upon the content here and not those motivations, though their existence suggests that perhaps he isn't notable. Notability + Clean Up

This article really does need a clean up. I agree with the comments of PelleSmith. It is clear that this is not an encyclopedia entry at present but largely a list of publications taken from a web page. Rangline 16.16, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
