Notability
[edit]This article meets WP:PORNBIO criteria. Dwanyewest (talk) 14:34, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- That's not the point of the G11 nomination. See the WP:CSD#G11 criteria. Without a doubt, this "article" would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic. Nevermind the fact that you tolerated the current mess, even tended to it after someone turned it from the substub you had originally created into this mixture of boldletter, inline links and formulations that even any half-serious advertising agency would reject as over the top. After seeing those diffs, I daresay you are not neutral, and apparently not fit to judge what is and what is not encyclopedically acceptable. And that is putting it mildly. --195.14.199.233 (talk) 15:22, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Perhaps a redirect to Vivid Entertainment is more appropriate. Morbidthoughts (talk) 16:36, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Just had the same thought. --195.14.199.233 (talk) 16:40, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- Unbearable self-adulation. The article seems to have been written by Mr Hirsch's PR department and is not encyclopedic in any way. The overall importance of this gentleman can be summed up in a three sentences article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.143.47.169 (talk) 20:20, 8 May 2011 (UTC)

Agreed with the above. This page is for Steveb Hirsch. Other then his name and DOB there is very little information about him here. It's all drivil for PR for VIVID (his company) is this is the case, it should just be merged into the page for VIVID if one exists. Ditto, but…
It's 2014 - the arguments about the validity of this encyclopedic entry (above) are from almost 5 years ago - yet, this is still here.
It doesn't belong here - @ all.

So; why hasn't it (yet) been removed?

Correction: Deep(er) Throat
[edit]Correction: Deeper Throat was about remaking Deep Throat, not Debbie Does Dallas Again. I don't have an account, so I can't change locked material- someone else needs to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.82.143.13 (talk) 04:44, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
Hirsch's father
[edit]Why in the world does the link to Fred Hirsch take one to an entry on the Fred Hirsch that was a famous professor and economic writer? That is not Steve Hirsch's father.74.138.45.132 (talk) 06:02, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
PR Article
[edit]The whole article seems to have been issued by a San Pornando Valley smut company. Probably Hirsch wrote this by himself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:46:1A12:95A2:3953:F397:1E26:F320 (talk) 15:55, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
