Re-Creation
[edit]I recreated this page after searching around the web for information on Dick Lugar's 2006 opponent, seeing a red link to Steve Osborn from the Indiana 2006 US Senate election page. My search led me back to a "web copy" from some other site (answers.com) of a previously existent article.
For the record, I saw the page on the senate race and wondered why Osborn won Warren County. I wanted to find out if that's where Osborn lived, although it turns out that he's from La Porte, over in La Porte County (a good distance from Warren County). I still haven't found the answer I was looking for, but hopefully, someone knows more about Steve Osborn, his campaign, and the 2006 Indiana US Senate race, and that someone will contribute more information to this article in the future.
I think that having a page here is more useful than not having anything at all. Having a page encourages people to come to it, read through it, and correct and expand it. It's easier to get people to make small changes to a page and add bits of information than it is to get people to create a page; thus, having an existent page encourages contributions and article development.
By the way, does anyone know if his campaign site was archived somewhere?
As a sidenote, I used the politics stub tag instead of the politician stub tag since, assuming that he has never held public office before based on the information in the article, he isn't actually a politician. Should I change this to the politician stub tag?
