nationality
[edit]Chen has never stated that he was Chinese American (as far as I know), so labeling him Chinese might touch upon the whole "pan-green" and "pan-blue" political issue again. I believe the best policy is to categorize people from Taiwan that emigrated over to America as Taiwanese-American, unless the person otherwise states so.
Removing category. ^_^ Jumping cheese Contact 06:20, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
He never talked about his nationality during the 8 years I worked with him...The history of the creation of SSI has a few gaps including how it was created. I could post the facts ( not pretty ) if there is an interest... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aeb1barfo (talk • contribs) 03:17, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
missing history
[edit]Some history seems to be missing here. How did Chen go from Chen Systems in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1995 to Galactic Computing in southern China in 2001? T-bonham (talk) 09:53, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Steve Chen had the keys to a Chinese Restaurant in Eau Claire. Most of the SSI people met there during the SSI years. There were several pitches before IBM bought in...The restaurant was a backup income at the time...Aeb1barfo (talk) 03:20, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

- How does a pageview count that is about 2% of another page's pageview count make this the primary topic? Powers T 02:03, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
- I think Marcus got the articles the wrong way around. I'm pretty sure he will withdraw this RM and start a new one on the correct page when he notices this. Jenks24 (talk) 09:42, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
- Comment leave it alone, the current method works fine, with the current article names. 70.24.248.237 (talk) 08:44, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
[edit]Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.
