BBC programmes with Sir Stephen King-Hall
[edit]"John Craven's Newsround" is sometimes credited with being first to bring news and current events to children in a way they could easily comprehend. Indeed, it has done a wonderful job over the years, but it is interesting to recall that Sir Stephen was doing it for my generation around the turn of the 1960s. I can remember sitting fascinated while he explained a map of Africa (the Congo, I think).Thurble (talk) 12:01, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
