[edit]I met and photographed him. I could put my image of him here but I do not know how to add it? http://www.wallisphotoblog.com/2009/03/stephen-j-cannell.html

pronunciation, simpsons, BS in journalism
[edit]"CAN-NULL" does not inform anyone how to pronounce his name, folks. it doesn't indicate which syllable gets stress. is it CAN-null, or ca-NELL, i don't know. (there's a miniscule chance that both syllables actually receive chance, but i really, really, really doubt this.
SECONDLY: the paragraph about the The Simpsons is the most confusing or nonsensical passage in the entire history of wikicivilization. This paragraph needs help. It's so whacked, that I can't even fathom how to begin fixing it.
Thirdly: did the man really receive a bachelor of SCIENCE degree for... journalism? i really doubt this, unless that university is out of its mind.128.119.232.164 04:11, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
- Take a look at this http://www.uoregon.edu/~uadvance/awards/entries/103.html It says: "Stephen J. Cannell, Journalism, BS 1964" Kms 22:51, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

His surname bears some resemblance to the Greek surname Kanellis, kanella is is the name given to cinnamon by the Greeks. Does he have any Greek heritage? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.166.166.48 (talk) 07:05, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
High School Sweetheart
[edit]Stephen went to Flintridge Preparatory School for boys. How then could his wife have been his high school sweetheart?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.128.139.87 (talk) 20:23, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Death
[edit]I'm not an expert, but I'm sure the following sentence does not meet Wiki standards: "His loyalty and friendship to those that knew and worked with him are missed." Was this taken from an online obituary? Somebody higher up should fix it, in my opinion. LMorland (talk) 07:57, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
Removed short lead tag
[edit]I removed the tag
because the current lede is two full paragraphs and lists the TV programs for which he's most famous. The lede must have been a stub six years ago.
