The article was instantly tagged for speedy deletion while i was just beginning to draft it. Please "hangon". I have to figure out how to respond here. give me a little time with this, as i have not done much with musicians before. The man is a regular of the LA Phil, has soloed and otherwise performed and toured thousands of times. I read up on musician notability a while back and am sure he is wiki-notable. I will respond here with more specifics. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doncram (talk • contribs) 22:44, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, Wikipedia:Notability (music) has changed significantly since when i studied it a year or so ago. I am sure that Custer is notable still, but i see that i may have to find more documentation. I can run literature searches on Monday that should probably suffice, but may not be able to add them til then. If someone absolutely has to enforce some bureaucratic order here, that's okay, but i would prefer you didn't so that i and others could develop this article properly. doncram (talk) 23:07, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
with revisions, i believe that notability is asserted adequately so that A7 speedy criterion is (at least now) not met. doncram (talk) 23:24, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
