This "Using one of the components of the technogenic development of mankind as a tool, the artist appeals to the topic of human relations with the virtual and natural environment, to the formation of fundamental values and understanding of one’s own essence." is terrible. "one of the components of the technogenic development of mankind" means "computer graphic software". Let me translate. What we're trying to say here is that Ryabchenko uses CGI to address three principles: a)how humans relate to real and virtual environments, b) how values are created and c) how one comes to understand one's own essence. That is nonsense of the highest order. His work does NOTHING to help the viewer understand which properties of their personality are so fundamental that without them, they would loose their identity (that's briefly and crudely what essence means). Nor does is tell me anything about values, nor does it say which ones: moral, cultural, economic?
I am well aware that there are sources that actually write like this. I own bookshelves full of them. But that does not mean that we're just going to repeat them. We write for a general audience and our articles should be understandable. Some subjects are difficult, and therefor hard to understand. But other times, writers are deliberately obtuse to obscure the fact that they have nothing to say. That appears to be the case here. At a minimum, we ought to attribute it properly, so that we're not saying these things in Wikipedia's voice. Vexations (talk) 13:16, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
dear Vexations Thanks for the help in improving the article. I absolutely agree with you; I have compiled good information that is understandable to readers. And do not cancel, please my edits, I spend my time on improving articles. I am sure everything turned out fine now, you can remove the warning.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Art of Odessa (talk • contribs) 22:21, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Art of Odessa, Yes, this is better. Please note that you should not quote people verbatim unless you attribute the quote. ThatMontrealIP seems to think you are somehow associated with Ryabchenko. Can you clarify your relationship to Ryabchenko? Thanks, Vexations (talk) 22:41, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Vexations Great, thank you! I don't have any connection to this artist. I just in Odessa and have good knowledge in arthistory of Ukraine and Odessa region. The images currently in the article were uploaded by Art of Odessa and they received OTRS copyright clearance shortly thereafter. It is therefore safe to assume that Art of Odessa has some kind of COI here and I have placed the COI tag. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 18:48, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
