– Among the four entries listed upon the Step on It disambiguation page, two — Step on It! (film) and Step on It! (video game) — use exclamation marks, while two others — Step on It (film) and Step on It (EP) — do not. Since the exclamation mark and/or its absence is insufficient to distinguish between the two films, addition of production year would be helpful. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 01:04, 4 April 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. – CityUrbanism 🗩 🖉 13:15, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose Per WP:SMALLDETAILS, which gives an example of Airplane! and Airplane as sufficient to distinguish. You are ignoring the fact that the articles themselves have hatnotes that direct people to the other movie if they got it wrong. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 10:28, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- Placement of hatnotes atop main title headers that carry parenthetical qualifiers is discouraged per WP:NAMB. In the case at hand, if the headers for the two films were fully disambiguated, per nomination, there would be no need for hatnotes. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:27, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
- Support Per WP:SMALLDETAILS the general tenor of which is to not depend on small details, but lists mega exceptions like Airplane!. These films are not mega exceptions, nor are sources consistent. We can't expect readers to know about films a century ago. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:58, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- Support 1st, oppose 2nd. Per WP:SMALLDETAILS like Airplane! you can normally rely in the presence but not absence of a detail. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:23, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
- Support as to both. That both are films and that the phrase "Step on it" is usually exclamatory (unlike the word "Airplane") is confounding enough to require disambiguation for both obscure topics. BD2412 T 02:04, 5 April 2023 (UTC)
- Support. An exclamation mark, which may or not be included, is no disambiguation whatsoever. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:16, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
