How soon we forget

I was surprised there was no article for Steele; even more surprised that he hasn't left a larger footprint on the Internet. Book illustrations from an older era must have a short shelf-life. But the beautifully expansive drawings for Hamilton's Mythology are his masterpieces. Anybody have more information on him? One of the references indicated WWII era posters, but I haven't been able to track any down. Elphion (talk) 19:11, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
