Pronunciation of the name Stead
[edit]There seems to be a misunderstanding, as to the proper pronunciation of the last name Stead STEAD. As it is currently, it is very easy for people to say Steed! InStead of Stead! The correction is Stad ( stadium) not Sted( Steed-a Horse) I find many Stead’s are called Horses.
It’s quite difficult to get people to translate that a Stead is a servant, Vessel of use to stand in for another person. To act as a representative.
