The comments on page ix of volume I of the third revised edition of the statutes referenced in this article do not specify the geographical application of the "statute book" to which they refer. It is not clear to me that the second revised edition of the statutes included Acts of the pre-Union Parliaments of Ireland and Scotland. (The third edition didn't, and the revised Scottish Acts were published separately in 1908 and 1966). Accordingly it is not clear to me that the said "statute book" is one applicable to Northern Ireland and Scotland (which application would be implied if it was described as British or as being in the United Kingdom). I have therefore made this edit. It might be desirable for someone to look at a copy of the second revised edition of the statutes and find out exactly what it does include.
