  • "and placed on a 15-foot pedestal" - same issue as the first point in this section

Background

[edit]
  • Mention what Plankinton was on the first mention of him in this section
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "had already done statues for the Plankinton family so was commissioned" - think there is a comma missing between "family" and "so"
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Park made the six-foot bronze statue" - same issue as the first and fifth points in the lead section
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "and originally promoted by businessman" - was originally
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "It had billiard and bowling" - think there is a word or two missing from this portion of text
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The property was again renamed and then called Shops of Grand Avenue" - the word in bold is not needed in my opinion
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The latest redesign of the property in 1980–1982" - between 1980 and 1982
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Grand Avenue was the 19th century prestigious street name where the property is located" - Grand Avenue was the name of a 19th-century prestigious street
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "and is now Wisconsin Avenue." - now called
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The statue on its 15-foot pedestal" - similiar issue to the first and fifth points in the lead section
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "and seen by hundreds daily." - and is viewed
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:17, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]
  • References 1, 6, 7, 9 and 10 are missing the page numbers
  • The date for Reference 3 is incorrect
  • The date for Reference 5 is incomplete
  • Also Refs 2 and 7 appear to be the exact same story but published in different newspapers on different days?

Will put the review on hold to allow the nominator to address/query the points raised above. MWright96 (talk) 14:48, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
