GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

AgnosticPreachersKid, as always thank you for all your hard work on this article. I've completed my review and re-review and find that it meets GA criteria, but does have a few comments and suggestions that should be addressed prior to its passage. Thanks again! -- Caponer (talk) 20:23, 22 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, no copyvios, spelling and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

Lede

  • Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section, the lede of this article adequately defines the statue, establishes the necessary context for the statue, and explains why the statue is notable.
  • The template is beautifully formatted, its contents are cited within the prose and by the references below, and its image is licensed CC BY 2.0 and therefore eligible for inclusion in this article.
  • In the first paragraph of the lede, it may be necessary to mention Philadelphia as the location of Independence Hall. A wiki-link wouldn't be necessary though.
  • The lede is well-written, consists of content that is adequately sourced and verifiable, and I have no other comments or questions for this section.

History

  • Consider adding the public domain seated portrait of John Aaron Rawlins to this section.
  • Since there was only one Congressperson from Wyoming in 1962, would there be any corroborating evidence to list William H. Harrison (Wyoming Congressman) by name here?
  • Otherwise, this section is well-written, consists of content that is adequately sourced and verifiable, and I have no other comments or questions for this section.

Design and location

  • The image of the sculpture in 2013 is licensed GNU Free Documentation License 1.2 and is therefore free for use in this article.
  • This section is well-written, consists of content that is adequately sourced and verifiable, and I have no other comments or questions for this section.
