[edit]- Someone in 2008 completely deleted this page and redirected to discriminant analysis. I have created a Statistical_discrimination_(economics) page restoring part of the old content but can please some statistician double check that it is appropriate to redirect to the statistics page from here? Statistical discrimination is a well established phrase and concept in economcs. Not sure the same is true for statistics.
- This article needs to be carefully reviewed concerning correct language. Also, the original Heckman example is about high jumpers, not basketball players. Chevalier de la charrette 15:07, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
It is very unclear to me what point is trying to be made with the basketball jumper example.
