Two major issues

[edit]

Hi. As a physical chemist, I think this is an interesting new article. I have made a few format revisions to show the sections and references more clearly. I have also added links to and from the existing article on SIMS. I think however that there are two major questions to address now.

1. The pictures are lovely, but Wiki requires the source of all images to be specified for copyright reasons. See the automated notices posted to User talk: Richa082 for guidelines on this.

2. How much duplication is there between this article and the older SIMS article? Would it be better to retain two separate pages, or to incorporate the new information here in the older article? I have not yet read the two articles carefully enough to form an opinion one way or the other, but I would like to raise the question. Dirac66 00:03, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images and cleanup

[edit]

Although the images are useful, there are a number of grammatical / spelling errors in the images (e.g., "does" instead of "dose"), and I believe the article as a whole is messy and requires cleanup. Furiouslettuce (talk) 13:21, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
