[edit]There was no Supreme Court in 1782! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.51.251.205 (talk) 17:06, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- It appears that you are correct. This predates the US Supreme Court by approximately 7-8 years (see History of the Supreme Court of the United States). Also, the article insinuates that there were no deaths as a result of this conflict, but yet I recall always hearing that people did die -- several dozen to approximately 150 or so were killed (see History of Connecticut and Pennamite-Yankee War). I've added the Disputed tag until this gets sorted out. --Thisisbossi 01:20, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think the editor who wrote that bit must have confused the 1782 decision by the Continental Congress referenced in the Pennamite-Yankee War article with the 1799 SCOTUS decision of New York v. Connecticut. --Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 05:44, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Map needed
[edit]I tagged this as needing an image, but what it really needs is a map. It was tagged as needing geocoordinates, but a single geocoordinate pair doesn't show as much as a map. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 03:46, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
