• One spells it StarFish Foundation (http://TheStarFishFoundation.com), based in Burlington, Ontario. This one was founded by Carol Fenn and Joanne Shield, and is focused on providing educational opportunities to needy but gifted children.
• Soledad O'Brien Starfish Foundation, often simply called the Starfish Foundation. Based in New York City. Recently renamed the PowHERful Foundation (http://PowHERful.org) to match their conference branding. Founders: Soledad O'Brien and Brad Raymond.
