Cleanup tags
[edit]Royalbroil (talk · contribs) asked me to comment on why I placed the cleanup tags on the article; I see a number of issues, though some have been eased since I did the tagging. Mostly, my concern at the time was for what I felt as being rather brutal prose - I rewrote the section on the Abbotsford accident because of that - and felt that getting more eyes onto the article to rewrite would be useful. The article seems to get deep into minutiae, with the track listing of the one album, description of tours, et al. Wikification seems a little better. Sources are desperately needed, and I spent time trying to find some, but came up thin. Tony Fox (arf!) 15:46, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
fairly major restructuring and disambiguation required
[edit]I'm not sure how to do this but this page should be moved to Starfield (band);
a disambiguation page should be created to contain links to the band page in addition to:
- Starfield - Main article, a screen-full of moving stars and references to cinematic usage
- Starfield (windows screen saver)
- Starfield (guitars) - a subsidiary corp of the Ibanez guitars brand and notable by virtue of the fact that this is what I was hoping to find information about.
Grateful if a mod could sort this out. Happy to provide first draft content next time I visit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stauner (talk • contribs) 20:41, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Disagree There are no articles about those subjects so there is no need to include those other issues. This is the main subject. If articles about those other subjects were to be created, this page would most correctly become a disambiguation page that would point to the other articles. No article other than the disambiguation page would be here. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:58, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Disagree except if articles are created. Otherwise a hatnote might be easier and make more sense. Royalbroil 22:52, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
