Currency

[edit]

The money in Spaceballs was not starbucks, it was spacebucks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.50.14.224 (talk) 17:26, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was space bucks in the film. According to IMDB it was changed to Starbucks in the animated series. Peter E. James (talk) 13:01, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Arcade in Albuquerque

[edit]

Starbucks was also an arcade in Albuquerque in the 1980s. Is that insufficiently notable? Barry.carter (talk) 20:25, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

US Dollars with replacement serial numbers

[edit]

Before Battlestar Galactica, in the early 1970s, we called Dollar currency that had an asterisk in the serial number a "starbuck". These appear in circulation as replacements for misprints. Group29 (talk) 23:58, 16 April 2017 (UTC) In the Replacement banknote article I see they are called "star notes". Group29 (talk) 17:15, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
