Infobox
[edit]- The album cover image requires an alt description; please add one
- Any information available on when the album was recorded?
- Can't find any, given the variety of artists, it was probably recorded in different places, but we can't put down what's uncredited editorEهեইдအ😎 21:47, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- How do you know "Cantina Boys", "NR–G7", "R2 Where R U?", "Help Me", and "Force" were released as singles? I'm only asking this because it seems kinda peculiar to me that a record label would released five singles within a timespan of 10 days...
- My response is simple. Please read the promotion and release of the article editorEهեইдအ😎 21:47, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
Lead
[edit]- Please insert "executively" in between "compilation album" and "produced by Rick Rubin..."
- Since Kevin Kusatsu was also an executive producer, please add his name in addition to Rick Rubin's
- The infobox says American Recordings was a secondary label, so it would be important to note this in the lead as well, in addition to Hollywood Records
- "from critics..." --> "from music critics..."
- Please link "music critics" to the article for "Music journalism"
- "However, it also garnered a mixed response from music critics, with praise going towards its eccentric concept and less favorable reviews saying that the album could only be enjoyed by fans of the film series." --> "However, it also garnered a mixed response from music critics, with praise going towards its eccentric concept and criticism that it would like only be enjoyed by fans of the film series."
Composition
[edit]Paragraph 1
[edit]- "Rubin gave the producers files of these sounds, but were also instructed by Lucasfilm to not sample any of John Williams' score from the films.[2]" --> "Musician Rick Rubin gave the producers files of these sounds, but were also instructed by Lucasfilm to not sample any of John Williams' score from the films.[2]"
- Please link "Rick Rubin" to his article as well
- Shouldn't Kevin Kusatsu be mentioned here in this paragraph as well? The infobox is his only mention throughout the entire article
Paragraph 2
[edit]- "Star Wars Headspace consists of the producers just using samples from the movie" --> "Star Wars Headspace consists of the producers sampling from the movie..."
- Please italicize "Consequence of Sound"
- Rest is good
Promotion and release
[edit]- "and pre-booking of the record opened.[1]" --> I don't understand what this means
- What do you mean by a "World Record" premiere?
- Don't ask me, that's how the Beats 1 show works. editorEهեইдအ😎 21:11, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- Instead of linking the phrase "official dance album chart", state the official and actual name please
Critical reception
[edit]Paragraph 1
[edit]- "On the favorable side," --> Remove this please
- About half of the first paragraph is Drew Mcweeny's review; you could definitely consider condensing it down a bit for the same affect here
Paragraph 2
[edit]- All good
Track listing and credits
[edit]- Remove "and credits" from the section title please
- No other credits apart from writers or producers (if you don't count mastering as a credit). Track listing and credit sections already lists all credits, no need for an additional section or name change of Track listing and credits. Doing so would make the article more redundant. editorEهեইдအ😎 03:32, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
References
[edit]- Reference #4 – "Consequence of Sound" --> "Consequence of Sound" (Italicize please.)
- Reference #14 – "Allmusic" --> "AllMusic"
- Reference #15 – Link "Rolling Stone" please
- Reference #20 – "Various Artist." --> "Various artists."
Other notes
[edit]- From what is included in this article, the album seemed to peak on several different record charts, so it is mandatory that this section exists
- You could include an expanded "Credits and personnel" section here as well

- I mean, I do count "mastering as a credit" but I agree with your reasoning. Thanks. Carbrera (talk) 03:33, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
- Although not 100% necessary, you could include a "Release history" section here too
- There's only one artist in the template "Navboxes of artists from Star Wars Headspace"; shouldn't there be at least two for a navbox of this type to exist?
- Definitely incomplete and pointless, removed editorEهեইдအ😎 21:45, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
End of GA Review:
[edit]Not a whole lot of bad here, just needs some further expansion in some parts. I'll place this article "On hold" for seven days to allow for any changes to the article! Good luck and cheers! Thanks, Carbrera (talk) 20:23, 21 June 2016 (UTC).
- @Carbrera: All comments have either been addressed or responded to. Thanks to the review (though sorry for using the force too much on people regarding the hype with Stars War LOL) editorEهեইдအ😎 05:23, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
