The Star Licks brand officially went out of business in 1999 when Hal Leonard Corporation (the parent company) retooled the products to DVD and added their name – e.g., "Instructional DVD for the Guitar – Larry Carlton - Hal•Leonard" Bowie Media (talk) 19:19, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
