Can someone clarify Alan Slutsky's level of involvement with the film? I saw Alan Slutsky recently in Atlanta, where he spoke at the 2007 Swing and Soul dance exchange, Dec 7 thru 9, 2007. From his discussion, it seemed like he was a primary influence in getting his book onto film, especially finding financial backing. Foij00 (talk) 20:19, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
