Title
[edit]The title of this article does not describe the content. I presume nearly every language has some sort of 'standard written form'?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Talskiddy (talk • contribs) 21:35, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
- I agree that the title of this article is ambiguous. -- Evertype·✆ 10:26, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- You make a good point Talskiddy, I only moved it becauser there aren't any other Standard Written Forms on Wikipedia, and a Google search gave the Cornish SWF as both the primary usage and the only orthography actually called "Standard Written Form". But if the consensus is to make the title clearer then of course I would support a move. --Joowwww (talk) 12:34, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- Who's going to move it then? -- Evertype·✆ 17:23, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
- Good question, would "Standard Written Form (Cornish)" be an acceptable title? Oskar Suth (talk) 10:00, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
- There's no need to disambiguate as there's no article it can be confused with, and apparently no potential article either. DuncanHill (talk) 11:32, 4 May 2023 (UTC)

Why is the IPA in italics?
[edit]Every other time I've seen the article the IPA forms are given in normal, upright position, but lately (I don't know if it's a change in source code or what not) the IPA forms are now rendered as italics (at least in Chrome). Is there any way this can be fixed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.10.82.67 (talk) 13:43, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
- Fixed. Thanks for pointing it out. Llusiduonbach (talk) 22:21, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
