[edit]Haven't been able to find any good free photos of the places involved yet. Really we could do with one from the north bank across the river to the site of the old castle at Achnacarry and wherever the ford actually was, plus another one from say halfway up Ben Bhan on the south side of Loch Arkaig, looking ENE to give an overview of the strategic situation - the relationship between the river and Lochs Arkaig and Lochy, from Achnasaul to Clunes.
