History
[edit]More than a century ago there were similar devices called "motorman's friends'' for operators of (urban?) streetcars. I believe that they drained to the exterior of the streetcar. I don't know whether there were precursors to such devices. DCDuring (talk) 15:41, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
