Retrieved 30 May 2021.. `Just guessing a bit, its foundation by David I of Scotland gives clues – see David I and the Scottish Church. In 1542 Mary, Queen of Scots was baptised in St Michael’s church, think she'd be Catholic. In 1559 the Protestant Lords of the Congregation arrived to obliterate all traces of the Roman Catholic religion from the Church. So, after that it'd be the Kirk, which is its current state as confirmed at the foot of the history page; don't know of any subtleties. . dave souza, talk 15:45, 30 May 2021 (UTC)
