Sources
[edit]Hi @Gerda Arendt: I am assuming that these sources are indeed intended for backing up the body in the German article, which would make it useful material for the reader. However, that peculiar penchant they have at deWP for treating inline cites as fluffy optional extras does make it no more than an assumption. I wonder how that habit got so entrenched in that project. Eh well, an jedm so wiars ihm gfreit :/ --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 12:59, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
- I believe they are the base for the German article, but I don't see much use for an English reader, these facts not only in a foreign language but also offline. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:09, 25 April 2022 (UTC)
First performance in 1732?
[edit]According to the Bach-Jahrbuch 2010, the St Luke Passion was first performed in 1732, not 1730, which was instead the year of the performance of the third version of the St John Passion. These claims are supported by Bach Digital. Anonymous7002 (talk) 19:50, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
