Intro

[edit]

The introduction says: "...it has not been the seat of a bishop since the Reformation." but surely it was still the seat of a bishop after the reformation? Bishops weren't abolished until the disestablishment of episcopacy in 1689. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.128.227.202 (talk) 09:29, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

St. Machar's CathedralSt Machar's Cathedral — This is the correct spelling of the name — see e.g. the cathedral's own website www.stmachars.com. (In British English "St" abbreviates "Saint", whilst "St." abbreviates "Street", although these are often confused.) --Deskford (talk) 20:15, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bishop of Culter Railway?

[edit]

An anonymous edit has added the name "William Wallace, Bishop of Culter Railway (1442-1440) to the list of internal burials. What on earth is this - a joke perhaps? Seriously, delete? ShropshirePilgrim (talk) 11:18, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
