Article needs verified and overhauled
[edit]This article might need to be removed if references cannot be found to establish what's in the article. I recently provided a new URL for the school's website, then commented it out. It seems to be the correct one for the school which is the topic for this article, yet many historical details provided do not match the current content. If not a straight PROD, it really needs to be sourced and the content revised to reflect the sources. signed, Willondon (talk) 23:38, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
- As an Old Boy of St. John's College (1951-1960), I wish to affirm here from my own personal knowledge that the College Logo was artfully designed by George Perera of one-time 'Gospel Lane' Dematagoda (Sri Lanka). Himself an Old Boy of the College the Logo was conceptualized under the supervision of his Art Teacher, Mr. Ivor Baptiste. The College Principal at the time was, Mr. X.J.S. Rasanayagam (B.A.Hons.Lon.).
