And this info (with a different telephone number & area code) was listed at http://www.rocktheblues.com/news/?page_id=307 21600 Oxnard St., Ste. 2070 Woodland Hills, CA 91367 Phone: (818) 592-6900 Fax: (818) 592-6901 Website: www.stclairent.com [apparently broken] Ron Ford Rich Jensen Gary Pacheco Stephanie Pool
Strange that they don't have a Web site. Ironic that the link doesn't work, and that they publish things that fall into the public domain!
Maybe when businesses open, someone can call. :) Cheers! Misty MH (talk) 08:37, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Public domain nature of music
[edit]I have St. Clair's "Baby's First Nursey Rhymes" (BFM44522) with a version of Puff the Magic Dragon. No writing credit is given, so it does not appear to be used under license. Is this song really in the public domain? I doubt it. Very suspicious.
I just checked the 1999 cd "Baby's First Animal Songs" (BFM44492) and it has "Going to the Zoo" (which is by Peter Paul & Mary), "How Much is that Doggie in the Window," "The Unicorn" (which is by Shel Silverstein), "Puff," and others that are still protected by copyright in the U.S. No writing credit is given and no indication is made that these songs are used under license. Is this why the company operates out of Canada?--Noirvince77 (talk) 16:14, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
