no Dutch?
[edit]Having finished a Dutch school, wouldn't she speak Dutch too?
right - article says she attended Dutch-language school, but "She speaks French, English, German and Russian." Am presuming Dutch should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.73.177.167 (talk) 03:13, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
(Not sure this is the correct manner to add to this post) Not sure whether the term 'Dutch' is correct with regard to the school: 'Flemish' may be more appropriate in this case. I would also assume she is fluent in Dutch/Flemish - why doesn't the author correct this obvious oversight?
Also, I understand she is learning Lëtzebuergesch, which should also be mentioned now that she belongs to the Luxembourgish aristocracy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.244.117.73 (talk) 11:45, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
"Princess Stéphanie, Hereditary Grand-Duchess of Luxembourg"
[edit]The page ought to be moved. The title of (hereditary) grand duchess in English does not have a hyphen. Also, when using the hereditary grand ducal title, according to our style guide, we do not prefix with the princely title. 99.246.46.229 (talk) 03:39, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Only Suo Jure Woman Married to an Heir Apparent ?
[edit]What about Hereditary Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein ? She was a Duchess in Bavaria and Princess of Bavaria prior to her marriage and is therefore a "suo jure" noble woman, isn't she ?161.24.19.112 (talk) 20:13, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
Wants no children
[edit]I have seen her quoted as saying that she does not want to have children. Since this has the effect of making her husband or his brother (whose heir is his daughter) the last foreseeable agnatic monarch of the House of Capet after over a thousand years, this bears mention.LE (talk) 16:12, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- You've seen that quoted where? Surtsicna (talk) 21:40, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
- It was an interview with Point de Vue when she turned 32 when she said "I don't have any plans to become a mother".LE (talk) 22:53, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
- I've Googled a bit, and my impression is that she thought it was too early for that. Surtsicna (talk) 09:48, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

Russian
[edit]I think I talked to her a lot in Russian when she was just 18. I wanted to talk in French or in English, but she insisted on talking in Russian. So, her Russian is very good, not "fair amount". --95.24.80.129 (talk) 22:12, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
