Sri, Shri, or both.
[edit]- There is no inclusion of alternate names but an article Shri Ganganagar Junction railway station uses "Shri" in the links. There needs to be consistency per WP:TITLECON, for article titles, and MOS:ARTCON, for consistency within articles. Otr500 (talk) 18:38, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
If you find images of that railway station on google, you'd see "Sri Ganganagar". So I'd say the railway station article's title is incorrect, an honest mistake no doubt. —Sarvatra (talk, contribs) 04:44, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

Sri Ganganagar District → Sri Ganganagar district – As per, WP:CONSISTENT. All other districts titles have small "d" lettercase for the word "district". Hemant DabralTalk 03:06, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
CommentOppose and change all the lowercase districts of India to uppercase: I would think for all of these that the opposite would be the case—that all the lowercase "district" names should be capitalized. If this is its proper name, then in English it should be capitalized (like "New York State" or "Czech Republic"). If this is instead a general description (like "Great Lakes region") then it should be in lowercase. Compare for example all the articles under these categories: C:Districts of Bangladesh, C:Districts of Ghana, C:Districts of Azerbaijan, C:Districts of Brunei, C:Districts of Afghanistan, C:Districts of Cambodia, and many more—where "District" is always capitalized. Also, take a look at the discussion going on right now about "Seoul station". — the Man in Question (in question) 05:24, 4 May 2020 (UTC)
